Tech that’s built to protect
After the Boston Marathon bombing, SharpLogixx realized its portable veterinary X-ray technology could help law enforcement respond to incidents more efficiently than with armored trucks — and save more lives. Wipfli Digital’s custom development team helped SharpLogixx complete the transition and become #1 in the market.

Challenge
SharpLogixx had the core X-ray technology required to grow into the security industry. But first it needed to make significant hardware and software improvements so that bomb technicians could respond to situations safely and accurately. That meant finding the right development partner. Wipfli Digital stood out for its flexibility, innovative ideas and willingness to experiment.
Solution
Functioning as an extension of the SharpLogixx team, Wipfli Digital helped co-develop improvements to the product. The team rearchitected the hardware, redeveloped the user interface, developed image-manipulation features and created iOS and Android apps that allowed technicians to control the equipment from their phones.
