Wipfli Digital has garnered two awards for excellence for its “30 tips in 30 days” e-book that provides cybersecurity best practices for businesses.
The awards, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), honor “the messengers and creators of the information revolution.”
Each year, in honor of cybersecurity month, Wipfli’s cybersecurity and communications professionals team up to provide clients with recommendations on how to stay safe in a digital world.
“Employee vulnerability is often the biggest threat to cybersecurity, so helping our clients educate their teams is a priority for us,” said Jeff Olejnik, who leads Wipfli’s cybersecurity team. “And that threat is only increasing with artificial intelligence and threats on the dark web.”
Wipfli’s e-book, “30 tips in 30 days,” won a gold award for digital publications and the book’s author, Autumn Lewis, won a platinum award for excellence in writing.
The series covered a broad range of topics, including who cybercriminals are targeting, the methods they’re using and the steps businesses should take to protect themselves.
AMCP reviews work solely on its own quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Judges base their decisions on learned perceptions of creative excellence rather than entrants’ explanations of their entries. Established in 1995, AMCP is one of the largest and oldest third-party evaluators of creative work in the world.
Every year, the judges review and evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, advertising, marketing and communication programs.
“The awards reinforce our strong standing in the global communications community and attest to our laser focus on creating valued content,” said Wipfli Chief Marketing Officer Paul Leroue. “The recognition for our cybersecurity content attests to our ability to deliver vital insights and recommendations to support the information security programs of a wide variety of organizations in creative, compelling ways.”
The 17th annual Hermes Creative Awards are coveted among marketing professionals, advertising agencies, media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
The cybersecurity tips awards are in addition to six additional Hermes awards that Wipfli earned this year.
